These terms cover your use of Whelpkeep. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What Whelpkeep is

Whelpkeep is back-office software for Australian dog and cat breeders. It informs; you decide. The checklists, rule summaries, listings and contracts it produces are aids, not legal advice, and they never block you from acting. You are responsible for what you publish, sell and sign, and for meeting the breeding laws of your state or territory. Whelpkeep is never a party to your sale and never holds buyer funds.

Your account

Keep your details accurate and your login secure (two-factor is available). You’re responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one breeder; team access is not part of this version.

Subscriptions & billing

Whelpkeep offers a free trial, an annual plan and a per-litter option, plus a free tier. If your paid access ends, your account becomes a read-only archive — “cancel” is not “delete”, and your records and puppy-page keepsakes stay safe and recoverable by re-subscribing. Prices are shown in the app in Australian dollars and may change with notice. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Buyer deposits

Deposits your buyers pay go directly into your own connected Stripe account — Whelpkeep is not the merchant and does not hold or move your money. You set your own deposit and refund terms; those terms, together with the Australian Consumer Law and any state rules (for example NSW’s deposit-refund provisions), govern what you owe a buyer. Whelpkeep simply records and reflects these.

Acceptable use

Use Whelpkeep lawfully and honestly. Don’t enter data you have no right to enter, don’t misuse the service or attempt to break its security, and don’t use it to mislead buyers. You must have a proper basis for the buyer details you record.

Licence & registration numbers

Any breeder registration, licence or supply number you enter (for example a state BIN) is your representation that it is genuinely yours and accurate. Whelpkeep does not verify ownership of these numbers; you are solely responsible for their accuracy and for any use we make of them on your instruction, including in listings or contracts you generate.

AI features

Some features use AI to pre-fill records from documents you upload. AI can make mistakes — always review and confirm the results before relying on them. AI output is not professional, veterinary or legal advice.

Your data & intellectual property

Your records are yours. You grant us the permission needed to host and process them to provide the service (including via the providers listed in our Privacy Policy). Whelpkeep and its software remain ours. You can export or request deletion of your data — email support@whelpkeep.com.au.

Disclaimers & liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits those rights. Subject to that, Whelpkeep is provided “as is”; we don’t guarantee it is error-free or that its compliance content is complete or current for your situation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using Whelpkeep at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. On closure we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes, law & contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves; we’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of your Australian state or territory. Questions: support@whelpkeep.com.au.
